I went back in the booth....I have a few dust nibs here and there. Nothing I can do about it now. If you think you are going to paint and be perfert clean, you really do intend to, it just don't happen. I hate to buff. It will look better at midnite going a 100 mph from the drivers view. I need to think on this a while...see ya''ll at the Pub.

Holy Cow Bill. That is one hell of a lot to do in just ten days. Why the deadline pressure?

It's my job, I like a challenge, I am obsessed with painting cars, I like to show people that it dosent take 6 weeks to get a paint job.Besides they always have deadlines on the TV. Only I don't need a set of Mac tools. I need a set of 17 campy clones from Wilkinson!

Bill, Hadn't had a chance to get back to you yet, but LOVE the photos. I love doing that kind of work on one condition. I get it right the first time. I re-painted the lid on my MGB trunk 3-4 times and when it is all said and done, I might need to do it again (it's not perfect). I love doing it the 1st time. The 3rd time get's a little old.

I would not be capable of doing any of what you are doing. Something like this would boggle my mind. I think packing my mufflers is a big job. It is amazing you can do so much in so little time.

Thanks Gary for sentiment, but a mans gotta know his limitations. It took me over four months just to adjust my shifter linkage. What Bill has done in a day or two would take me a lifetime. Wink

You know Gary when I was having so much trouble I was thinking of a remote linkage. IOWs something like hydralic cylinders in conjuntion with solenoids.
