I've got a very original car, and want to keep it that way. Many of you know I've strayed for TOTAL INSANE originality in favor of electronic distributor, Pat Mical 'stealth' suspension, headers and VERY few other bits, all reversible.

My front shocks were replaced but have developed a 'clunk' (again) since I attempted 'old' and original twice before.

The dilemma: Do I go for new Konis (gas) or KYB, or search for 'old school' heavy but cool orange Konis?

Your input is ALWAYS greatly appreciated.

...Most owners have discovered that the 'Clunk' they hear in the front is actually the 'Coolant' Tube hitting the front Anti-sway Bar! Check it out!...

i would go with Konis, and if you need some Im almost positive I can get brand new Konis for you, if you go with the origional Konois then i would have them rebuilt- would be close to the same cost.
I do have my original set of konis-FYI

I bet Marlin Jack is nailed it! My "clunk" was the coolant tube.
