For sale is my 1971 deTomaso Pantera. I purchased this car in May 1983 from a gentleman in Los Angeles, CA. The car was stored indoors until summer 1997 when I was able to start a restoration of the car. The engine and transmission were rebuilt, front and rear trunk felt replaced, many of the suspension components replaced or refurbished, new high performance brake system installed, original seats recovered in black leather, exterior professionally repainted in the original red color. See below for a more complete list. The car had approximately 50200 miles on it when I bought it. I am selling the car because I have another car project coming up. The car is located in Fort Collins, CO, about 1 hour north of Denver.

FYI ... this is one of the very earliest Panteras built after
Ford took over production in general, including final assembly
of the cars destined for the US. The push button Panteras had
been assembled 100% at Vignale in Torino. After Ford took over
final assembly of the North American Panteras shifted from
Vignale to Ford's new plant at via Virgilio 9 in Modena. Final
assembly of Panteras destined for European markets shifted to
the existing De Tomaso factory at Via Jacopo Peri 68 in Modena.
