Got my headlights finally and have just finished the conversion. I like them very much! Usual high quality Kirk puts out!

R72CAT, Nice looking cat. I was curious about your front bumpers. Were they modified to remove the turn signal lights or does someone have these available?

I was the first to get my lights as my order was in the May timeframe. Kirk was good enough to let me be the Ginnie Pig to do the first (home Installation), he did 3 at his shop in testing. I think he is using my input to verify his written instructions. I will include another shot or two in this photo gallery. If my car had no little 33 year old car issues with stuck headlight bolts, bad ground wires etc, it would have taken about 6 hours to install. I was much faster on the second light than the first. But I was working with photographs and no instructions or template. Future kits will have this.

Husker, my car is an "L" modified back to a pre "L", so that is why there is a different look.

Thanks to all for the positive comments ! In a group that has such individual talent and beautiful cars, any positive comments rank pretty high up there!

R72CAT, I have a '71 and the turn signals are integrated into the bumperettes. I think they are too big and am thinking of relocating them which would require modifying the remaining bumperette. It obviously would be easier if someone already had them fabbed.

Cool, I really like the look of the twin headlights and was doing some research on the various alternatives. As many before me have said, only thing I don't like with all of the available conversions is the price Frowner

I have to say a previous convesrion, (I think by Larry Wu), struck me as the best looking, with the CF flowing nicely to create a more aesthetically pleasing light unit.

So, yet another project gets added to the "#7024 to do list", to build a set myself, it can't be that hard surely? A littel while ago I found a source for the Hella H9 90mm lenses in low and high beam complete with mountings and adjusters for about $60 each. With a bit of metal work, some CF and a good chunk of time I reckon I can pull a set together for a reasonable cost. It's not high priority, but when I do get round to it I'll document it and post here.
