Now that my starter/flywheel problems are behind me, I am ready to start on my next issue - the ball joint spacers (they look like the top portion of the ball joint but are larger to fit over the top of the ball joint before the rubber dust cover. Mine had one on each of the top ball joints(I lost one). A suspension set from Wilkinson has them on all four of the front ball joints. Anyone know what is correct or are they needed at all and where you can get them?

Bob,

Try looking at a local Fiat parts dealer. The new ball joints I put in got rid of this design and was a beefier design all around. I would recommend getting away from the stock design....

I had four bad ones by the time I got back from Vegas the second time I think.....the multi layer design is just weak all around....

Fiat 124 used two types, ie top vs bottom. You want the beefier one!
