I'm pretty sure that I know the answer to this, but is an original Mangusta tool kit basically impossible to find? Do they ever come up for sale anywhere?

How about replica tool kits? Are they available somewhere?

For better or for worse, many of these same tools, the jack and ratchet are used in tool kits for Alfas and Ferraris. Some of the tools are reproduced, but nobody talks about that because they lots of money selling repro tools as originals. (this is mostly a Ferrari phenomenon)

Here is a pic:

The jack is definitely found in some Ferarri's. Someone sent me a link a while back to some guy's personal parts data base (with pic's) of all sorts of stuff, and the Goose jack was in there..... of course that helps us little.....

Could have been used in others....but this is all I've noticed to date. The jack handle extension and the ratchet seem to be special to the Goose too. Both are longer than what came with the Panteras....and I can't remember what the Ferarri stuff looked like.....

The lug nut wrench in the tool kit has "similar" versions used by Fiat, but a different size! We need a 22mm, but the ones commonly found in Fiat 500's (where I've seen them) are smaller...darn!

Not that a Concours judge is ever going to pull it out and see if it fits a lugnut. Big Grin
