Sorry- T-5 or T-56 are front-engine Mustang trannys. Panteras with their ZF transaxles have a whole other set of problems- clearance to the fuel tank on the left side by #5 pipe, clearance around the rear coil-overs and around/through the halfshafts. Headers can be custom made to fit anything- like a front-mount Jaguar V-12 in a Chev Corvair?

Forest, DeTomaso made 10 (Wiki says 17) ZF 5-speed manual transmission Longchamps. Mine is one of them. All the rest were Automatics.

It is definitely possible to fit the T5 manual instead of the auto box. I would assume that a T56 would also be possible.
