"When speed is the only thing that counts" |
Last year someone posted pics of their stock muffler restoration. I thought it was posted on this board, but I can't find it. Does anyone else remember seeing this thread/article?
If I recall correctly, the tips had been cut off and new replacement Ansa tips were welded on, then the muffler was JetHot (?) coated in black and looked brand new when finished. Please post the link if you remember where this article is. Thanks! |

Hi Garth,
Was that article the one from Pantera Place? http://www.panteraplace.com/page200.htm Just in case, here's the link. Best wishes either way. A Hudson #07059 |

No, that's not it. Someone cut off the old tips and welded on new tips from Hall I think. He also talked about masking the chrome on the tips before having the mufflers coated (JetHot or something similar), but in black instead of silver. Pics at completion showed they looked like brand new mufflers. I can't remember where I saw it.
