Dan - If we are looking at a 427 Small Block, Dart Block. 9.5 Deck height, 4.00 stroke x 4.125 bore with CHI heads what design would you select for a set of headers? HP goals are high 500's to low 600's. I want to preserve good torque throughout a 2000-7000rpm operating range.

I am not going to do 180"s, too complicated, and I don't want to lose my trunk.

I am going to have them custom built, probably by Kook's on Long Island.

4 into 1?

Tri-Y

What diameter primaries? What length? What collector size?

What else do I need to consider?

I'm out of town and don't have access to my design equations. I'll be back in town on Monday. Try me then. Are you using the CNC ported 3V heads or the standard? What's your maximum cam lift on the exhaust side?

My heads are CHI 3V 218 cc standard. I don't have cam specs but feel the lift will be between .600 and .650.

Once again bore will be 4.125, stroke will be 4.00. Motor will be rev limited to 6800 rpm.

Please let me know if you need any additional info. Thanks Dan! - Chris
