I recently had a problem with my Speed Deamon 650 Carb that I bought from LarryW from this Forum. A couple of weekend ago (When it wasn't raining here in NH) I picked my son up from a local High School football game in my Pantera and we had a very "fun" ride home. After the 2nd WOT run we came to an intersection and the car died. I got her re-fired and headed for home. On the way we had a couple other WOT runs just before pulling in to our development. As we're coasting around the neighborhood the car starts to sputter, and when I pushed in the clutch to get in the driveway she dies again. I'm thinking I hurt something bad and feel like crap because she wouldn't start after that and I could smell gas. The next day I thought I'd try my luck and she started right away. (Big relief) She had problems maintaining an idle. After shutting her down I could hear a trickling noise from the carb. I had gas flowing from the secondary boosters with the car shut off.

I e-mailed LarryW and he thought it was a fuel level issue. He offered to come over to where the car was and give me a hand.

Wouldn't it happen to be that it's raining!!! That did not stop Larry! I set up my EZ-Up and he did his thing. After a couple of flame ups from the carb and a couple of adjustments, I'm back up and running.

Just after he got her running and after he left to finish his busy day. BTW, he was at my place at 8am on a Saturday morning in the rain!
