'73 front grill needed

My short term is horrible, BUT I think this guy had one (front and rear) on ebay a couple weeks ago.

I dealt with him on a dash and he was very responsive (went out of his way) when I had glitches with credit card and Fedex

I felt a paid a premium, but he had what i needed. and I recall the grills were $ IMO

There have been two different grills on eBay in recent weeks. If you thought the price was too much, they were within the range of what I had been finding looking for a replacement for 2511. I elected to repair a spare that I had that was slightly tweaked.

I was in a similar situation with my car during its restoration. We spent lots of time "fitting" the grille and when we got it back from chrome it was unrecognizable it was so bent. To make a long story short we ended up buying some stainless flat bar and bending it the short direction on the press to give it the rounded top look. Then we mitered the angles and tacked it together on the car. Once it fit perfect we took it off welded it and welded studs on the back. After a polish it was done.

I have a grille from my 71. It is in great shape. All studs are there and the Detomaso emblem bracket on the screen back side. stainless will need a polishing to bring back the gleam.
Whats it worth to you?

Once again, thanks to all for replying.I tried to make a reasonable deal with the fellow who had the two grills, but no luck.

As for Tyler's grill, will a '71 grill fit a '73?
