I managed to misplace the screw that holds the carpeted relay panel door shut (it is the same as the screw that holds the fuse panel door shut) on my '74. I ordered a (reportedly) oem replacement from one of the vendors and it is not the same- the replacement is light silver instead of charcoal gray and is much longer (about 1.5 inches long vs. about .75 inch.) Can someone tell me which is the correct one?

Thanks, I was pretty sure the ones I had were right. I will keep trying to locate a correct one at the vendors.

Mine on 4366 were chromed and fairly long- interchangeable with 2 of the 3 console thumbscrews (one was short). What you might consider is using the longer ones and putting a 1/4" long stand-off under the head of the door screws. This keeps the head out of the upholstered fabric where it tends to sink in, and allows a better grip for fingers.

Well, three different vendors have sent me three different screws- all of them incorrect (even after giving them the part number and description). Anyone have a good idea where to get one? Anyone have an extra one for sale by chance?
