I was bidding on Ebay on some kick panals that sold for $150 pair. I decided to make my own. I bought a peice of .050 14x38 for $15 delivered to my door, also from ebay.

Nice going Bill! Great pic's. I especially got a chuckle from the leather Pants! LOL! How did you roll the edges over the aluminum with the leather? Or is it flush on the edges?

Emery, I cut the leather about a inch larger than th aluminum, and used glue on both surfaces, then just pressed it around the edges. The leather is very supple, and folded nicly.
