Hi all,

I tried something different with my headliner. Cleaned the old foam and glue off the roof and old headliner. Bought a piece of automotive grade magnetic sign material. Made a paper template of the roof. Cut sheet magnet to fit. Easily cuts with scissors. Glued the old headliner to the sheet magnet being careful to position it so the trim around the edge falls in the same place. A new headliner would eliminate this issue. Its a bit tough to get it positioned just right, but it works great ! Mike

Mike,
Where did you buy the magnetic material?
Anything special about the material? How about thickness?
Thanks

Probably increases fuel economy too! Big Grin

Seriously, that's a great idea, and one I have not heard before. Please post pics of your process and the end result. Thanks for sharing!
