Been thinking on tinting the windows on my car and was looking for some pics on what it might end up looking like.

Any pics out there of Panteras with tinted glass? Would like to cool the interior down a bit in South Florida.

Thanks,
Angelo

Heres one.
Unfortunately this owner didn't realize the quarter window wasn't tinted until I sent him this pic. The quarter window on the other side is tinted.
This is probably a little dark to be legal in our area so check what is legal to make sure your not asking for a ticket

When I purchased 2511, it had a fairly dark sheet tinting on all the windows.

As I was regularly driving home from the PCNC meetings at night, 153 miles, I soon realized my night time mirror view was seriously compromised by the side window tinting - my side rear views were just about worthless at night.

So I pulled off the tinting on those windows.

Much better. Smiler

Some time later, I started thinking my tinted rear window was also a serious hindrance to my rear view. So I pulled off that tinting also.

Made a world of difference, BIG difference. Realize the rear glass is fully tucked under the roof line and thus will almost always never get any direct sunlight/heat.

If you want to try tinting, I would advise to NOT put any on your rear window. And do a fair evaluation on your quality of rear view if you add to the side windows.

I jokingly often say - Whatsa behinda me is not important - but in reality it is important.

I will have to evaluate the vision issue, will probably take that temporary stick on tint and try it for a night or two just to see.

Will also have to notice just how much I actually use the rear window. For some unknown reason the only time I recall using that mirror was to check for flashing blue lights behind me. Cool

I have my windows tinted, it is pretty much a necessity in Florida. There is no reason or need to tint the back window, to the engine compartment. As far as night driving most times the windows are down

Angelo,

Yes, my front windows are tinted too. I purchase my car with all of the windows tinted the same. The police in Maryland have never stopped me about my windows or lack of front license plate. They have howevever stopped me just to look at it and ask questions...
