A friend of mine called yesterday and asked if I wanted to go on a small run today. Just a couple of cars. We drove almost 175 miles. We were the sole Pantera...Bill is a officer in the local Porsche club. Had three Porsche's to compeat with. It was a very spirited drive at times! Hit some very twisty roads. We had a cop we ended up passing while he was stuck behind a turning truck. He ended up two cars behind me and the car behind us was one of the Porsche's. This all respected law enforcment officer was tailgating Wayne trying to get us to screw up on a 55 MPH road. The next thing I know I checked my rearview mirror and he had nailed some poor soul who was oncoming to us.
One of the sites we drove by..now this was unusual. A farmer had 15-20 Coyotes hanging from a tall fence.
But onlong the way we made a stop and took a couple of shots. My copilot never did take any shots of us going down the road..she was to busy holding on!!

Sounds like a great time! I'm always amazed at how small the Pantera looks when sitting next to a Porsche 911 (which I had considered to be small cars themselves).

The silver car was a 04 and none of us were faster then him, it was just so easy for him to keep up with us. The black car is a friend of mine Bill is a computer qeek/engineer. I powder coated his exhaust pipe for him and I talked him into putting some mods on his car he had sitting in his garage. He was worried about breaking fastners and I gave him some advice on how to remove them, well he told me he figures hes putting out close to 400 HP now. I got to go for a ride last friday and that car is really quick! 1717 and his car are very close in power and speed I think. He drives alot wilder than I do!!! Yesterday was a blast.
