I see that the two geese on the P.I.M. website finally sold. Anyone know what they sold for? Inquiring minds want to know!

Dennis - I didn't purchase either of those geese, but I am the proud new owner of #726 as of yesterday.
The car belonged to Juan Puig in Coral Gables, Florida but was auctioned on Sunday (3/30) and I won the car and picked it up yesterday. Its a red/black car that is in the registry. I need help with the following for that car: (1) Headliner is missing -- what color and type of headliner material is original? (2) Visors are missing - does anyone know where I can source a couple black sun visors? (need visors and rods/mounting brackets) The car is at an exotic sportscar restoration ship in Florida getting a tune-up and the above repairs and then it ships to my home in the Texas Hill Country. Car is a strong #3 condition car and will make an excellent weekend driver (which is what I was looking for). Dennis - you are correct that at 5' 7" I fit the car nicely but I'd hate to be 6'3" trying to climb in the car. Visibility is poor (as advertised) but who cares?......its a cool ride. I'm going to call Hall Pantera or PIM for the visors but would appreciate any leads. ![]() |

Congratulations! Beautiful car! As was said in an article: "There are other cars we'd rather drive but none that we'd like to be seen in"
I'll have to check my car for the headliner question and I'll post pictures. How about posting more pictures! Aloha from Hawaii, Dennis "Now in Lost Wages, Nevada" !" Congratulations! Can't wait to see more photos. What's the number of your car? Is it in either of the registries?
Of course, you'll want to check out www.mangustainternational.com If you get bored and decide to sell the car, please let me know. Mark |

I haven't matched it up the Pantera's visor yet but both the visor and the mounts look the same. Unfortunately Pantera visors are also hard to find and expensive but do appear on Ebay now and then.

The headliner material on my goose is like a padded felt. I'm not sure if it is stock, my interior is unrestored except for my seats and the headliner looks a bit aged so it may be original.

Dennis - thanks for the visor pic's.
Mark - my car is already in the Mangusta Registry (the VIN ends in 726). HEADLINER QUESTION: I noticed in the pictures of the midnight blue Mangusta for sale on this site (California plates), that the headliner appears to be a black textured vinyl material to match the interior and it has some kind of overhead console (centered) that runs front to rear against the headliner......my car does not have that console. Does anyone know if this is original? (ignore the speakers the guy has mounted in a separate overhead enclosures). One more thing for anyone reading this, I know Dennis said he had to use Pantera seat rails for his driver's seat to enable adjustment of seat travel -- is there anyone out there that knows whether Mangusta's had a driver's seat travel adjustment handle like the passenger's seat? It seems stupid that the driver's seat would be bolted into a single distance position. Right now, I can't depress the clutch comfortably and need to move the seat about 2" forward but cannot locate an adjustment handle. |

The blue car was restored and customized by Gary Hall. I have never seen that roof-mounted centre console before, but I have not (sadly) seen every Mangusta. Looking forward to seeing more of your car. |
