I am trying to locate another GOose shifter knob to install on my Pantera.....as sort of a tribute to all of my trials and good times with the Goose!
My knob was sort of a smallish reddish wood knob that was a very nice shape, not over bearing, and it looked nice! Unfortunately it went away when the car sold!
What I am seeking, is either another spare wood knob like what I had, OR some basic measurements and I can look into making one or having one made.
Attachment shows my knob. I have no reason to believe this is not the original knob, but I did put a repop emblem in place on the top.
I can't say we've ever had a "shifter knob" discussion here...that I recall! But I have seen some funky knobs and I think I have seen plastic ones....which perhaps were covered with leather at one point in time.....ala Pantera......
Anyway, I did get some rough measurements of the plastic Pantera version, but I cannot compare them to the Goose knob....because I don't have one to measure at this time!
Perhaps one of you has one handy that you can measure up!
