Marlin, When you have the chance, I'd appreciate an operational assessment regarding your XenArc headlight conversion since the July post. Happy with the performance? Would yo do anything different? I'm planning on doing the upgrade as one of this Winter's projects and want to take advantage of any lessons learned you can pass on. Thanks.

Regards,

Ron

How much did it cost you to do this conversion? Thanks.

The cost? $400. for the kit. Quite a few hours of my time. 2 pieces of aluminum 2"x2"x?(length) 1/8" Thick, 90 Degree Angle shaped extruded metal. I did the cutting with a sabre saw and a fine-toothed blade; VERY carefully!! You'll need drill bits and the hand drill and a few stainless steel machine bolts, washers and nyloc-nuts. Satin Black spray paint. Be sure to see my 'Assessment' of these lights, in the above thread, Before proceding!
