Reply to "1971 emergency switch"

I just checked a broken emergency switch and there is a metal clip that retains the lens insert. Like yours, the switch still works without the lens. You likely need a new switch because the clip mechanism that retains the lens appears difficult to repair. Someone probably lost the lens after your retaining mechanism failed some time back. A new switch is available from our vendors.
