I PERSONALLY feel that it would be a lot easier to sell in the U.S.A. [sorry to all oversea's enthusiast's] especially as local as possible so that any potential buyer's could come see / drive the car for themselve's and have all the [first hand information] needed to make an informed decision. Or at the very least have the car checked out by other TRUSTED KNOWLEDGEABLE PANTERA ENTHUSIAST'S and even then [if the car seem's to be what you are looking for]if possible check out the car in person. Let's face it these are not cheap car's and they are prone to some problem's here and there [some worse than other's] In conclusion do your home work / know what you are looking for / at determine what level of skill's you have to do the repair's that may be needed now or in the for seeable future[un-less you are going to out source the work $$$] and factor into your decision.

excellent post. i have lived my whole life in the USA, and i have not seen but a small part of it. its too new, and too time consuming to try to sell a cheap car to someone overseas and help make it a easy transaction.
again, i will mention many of us here have no clue how to transfer funds in and out of the USA safely, and there are Federal Banking and Tax laws that can make selling the car as a person ( i am not a dealer) very hard and time consuming.
dealers are different and have levels of checks and balances and laws they abide by. thats why they are "dealers".
perhaps if one of you International guys that thinks i am so ignorant would like to take the time and explain to this dumb American exactly how the process works, i would be glad to sell my cars out of my collections off and on to future overseas buyers.
remember we have laws about stuff going out, as much as we do coming in. and i have no clue what they are above the State level and selling a car from guy to another.
this is just a hobby. i never sell my guns or guitars.
