I knew it had a name!
Big Grin Big Grin

The car did pretty well and got VERY close to CARREAPER's reserve (or suggested 'buy' price on this board) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971-DeTomaso-Pantera-Pu...QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Looks like a good car for someone. I knew of CARREAPER'S F-cars on that "other" board and seems the cars were always accurately described, so this may be an opportunity for someone on this board to own a fun and fruitful project.

yep, $35,000 was the reserve, and still is the buy it price. i have had several Lambos and Ferraris. all of my buyers were happy, and i am still in touch with all of them. i feel like i got to enjoy a classic car and make a new friend in the process of selling to a fellow enthusiast.

i am man enough to apologize to the overseas guys by the tone of my post.

people overseas are better suited to International affairs as there are so many Countries that are close together, and that gives you a whole new view on other people, cultures and language. i dont know how easy or difficult it is to travel Overseas either, but here we just jump in and drive.

i dont know any other language, and i have not been outside of the USA, other than the Bahamas.

i may relist the car, but i have other things going on besides selling the Pantera, so there is no hurry.

sorry if i offended anyone.
