If you upgrade to a 3.77 and tall 5th the 0.642 provides 80 mph cruising 2450.
Personally I think this is the ideal combination and the 3.77 makes the lower gears more usable albeit at the expense of a start/stop in heavy traffic.

At 70-80 mph what kind of Gas Mileage do you get with those gears?
