Reply to "Any idea of grey Pantera in the early 70's / 80's"

Hello Mark,

easy and simple to day : It depends on the inspector. To get a historical license plate some of the inspectors concentrates on item where you say: what the heck.... The colour for example is shown in the title and needs to match to the car. If you repspray it, the colour needs to be authentical in time the car was produced (+ 3-5 years variation) Wheels for example as well as mirrors, windows, brakes needs also be approved from this time but sometimes safety reasons are prior vs. stock.
One advantage is that this car isnt very 'kown' here and the Inspector likes it and supports me in the way he can. Soy why life making unconfortable ?

Anyway - I have my list of changes I need to do (and exhaust btw isn't an issue - I won't argue withe the inspector) and regarding colour he needs something which shows a more or less similar colour from this era. Guess why i now already start to the get things prepared.

Regards
Marc
