Reply to "Battery Terminal Wiring on a 1974 Car"

I bought this car a year or two ago and it has had a problem with hot restarts since I got it running. I thought the source of the problem was old connections on the battery cable and decided to fix or replace each junction. The first fix was the positive battery terminal as seen above and, wow, what an improvement. The starter sounded like it was on steroids upon the first cold start. The terminal might have been the primary issue but I will disassemble, inspect, clean, and repair (if needed) the junctions at the solenoid, the starter, and the chassis ground on the ZF.
