If you want to mount your brake rotors on the outside of your hubs, replacement hats are available that leave the rotor in the same position as before, so you don’t need to move the calipers. That would also be a good time to drill and tap your axles for much stronger (and cheaper) 1/2”-20 screw-in studs.
