Best door window whiskers and channels??

Looking for recent experiences regarding new window felt whiskers and glass channels.

I believe most of the whiskers sold by vendors need to be cut to proper size, not sure about the glass channels.

Also aware that stock whiskers had a black exposed edge and some, all?, vendor replacements have a chrome exposed edge.

All feedback, positive or negative, is appreciated.
