O.K. The job is finished. I pulled the clip on the top of the arm and without a complete disassembly I was able to clean crud out and get the e brake assembly working as it should. Both rear calipers rebuilt. Now I move to the fronts. Thank you all for the help, it keeps the swearing to minimum.
