Correct path through for the accelerator cable?

Hi Team, well I have so many picture from the disassembly but still missing once in a while some detail.
Can you help on which one is the right path through for the accelerator cable?

1) the long (samll) oval in the firewall?
or
2) the hole below the shifter opening?
