Owners reportedly had a bit of trouble getting cruise control to work in Panteras and Mangusas, until some genius tried clamping two sets of magnetic pickups to a ZF halfshaft instead of only one as was used on front-engined cars. But that was decades ago- maybe the current assemblies are more flexibly designed.
