I don't think you can use a 157 tooth flywheel with the ZF bellhousing. You'll need a 164 tooth to align with the starter.

Also, I haven't looked into Tilton or Quartermaster clutches, but Mcleod has a twin disc set-up (incl. 164 tooth flywhell) that I've been considering for my Nascar D3 set-up.

I took that into consideration,A stock small block ford with a standard 289,302 has a 164 tooth fly wheel,a HIPO and automatic have 157 in vintage racing and Stock car racing we want the engine to spin up with a smaller Fly wheel/flex plate ,with a Tilton or Quarter Master we generally use the at flex plate because the clutch has a button Flywheel that attaches to the Flex plate you have to use the 157 tooth starter for the application to make it ingage properly with the ring gear,What did you do about the TB? Does Mcleod have a hydraulic TB to go with that?,I believe i have the Mcleod set up less Hydraulic TB for my 94 5.0 cobra which is also a 157 tooth Flywheel, Thanks for the help,I just put it out there to see if anybody Tried The Tilton or Quarter Master and i was looking for PN#s if they did, of course there are others that make this kind of set up
