You have to go on the "Sea Blaster" in Destin.

It's south of your route off I-10, but only by about 45 minutes. It's probably about a whole afternoon trip in total.

The beaches in Destin are spectacular, and the weather ought to be wonderful - it's after the Hurricane season.

There is a guy who pours the unlimited beer and wine on the Sea Blaster - no matter how rough the seas are, he never spills a drop.

PS. If you can, swing down south and head to the Florabama - Right on the line between Florida and Alabama in Perdido Key. Not sure how far out of your way it would be, but if you are down in Biloxi and Mobile, it shouldn't be that far.

Also in that area (Gulf Shores) there is a preponderance of UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) activity. I can not say if it is due to people spending too much time at the Florabama or not.....
