Probably a replacement engine block. A lot can happen in 42 years.... An OEM block is only valuable if you're building a totally stock show car. As for the rivited fiberglas flairs, they were used as-stock on the U.S-only GTS varient and on many others as add-ons in a number of sizes. Are the stock fenders underneath cut for extra tire clearance? Many were added on cosmetically including on the stock U.S. GTS. If your machine happens to be a U.S-only GTS, it will have 'GTS' in the serial number, but I think your serial number is a '72 pre-L (chrome bumper) and all real U.S GTS were '73-'74 L models.
