...8ma1144 is up again on Ebay, after a bit of scrubbing on the undercarriage, repaired seat, swapped shift knob.....It sold during car week for $215k, and is back for sale at the BAT asking price. Schmitt seems to like Mangustas.

I'm curious if anybody has a late car with a tool kit...The one here is the right vinyl (with gray interior), but stuffed with 6 open-end wrenches....The picture is not very clear, but at least all appear to be USAG ~252 (well, at least with the size embossed on the handle). The only change I'm sure of is the variation in spark plug wrench (between sliding and fixed handle...). But I'd be curious if cars continued to the end with tool kits, even. Scanning Provamo (lazy day in Taiwan, a typhoon holiday the last mentions of tool kits are in 1160 and 1216, and the last picture in 1084...Lee

ps. 8ma1144 has engine #234 (written on the original sales invoice dated 9/25/70!)
