I did the same thing. Took old headliner out, cleaned, glued to thin cardboard sheetstock cut to size, reinstalled. Still perfect 15 years later.

Hall Pantera has (or had) sun visor aluminum milled mounts. they prevent the flopping down. work perfectly on original sun visors
