A few remedies found on the web:
-if you have too high fuel pressure, install regulator
-install spacer to lower carb temp
-make sure fuel lines are routed away from engine, exhaust, heater hoses
-make sure the heat riser in the manifold is blocked

I would add make sure your engine doesn't run too hot
