history help pls

I have a Euro GTS 3840, carrying its original Turin registration plate, that its last owner an American in Connecticut never removed from the car. So from Italy it found its way to the USA and now its in the UK I bought it in late 2013, I hear that it takes Dollars to get history records from the De Tomaso family? if so how much and how do I get in touch with them please
