1. The first place to check is the DeTomaso Registry.

Unfortunately, access to the site is restricted to registered users who have contributed to it. You may be able to submit your car if it's not already there. If it is, someone here will be happy to pull any info on your car and send it to you, just share your VIN with us. Although you may need to contact Chuck (the administrator) directly for past owner info, if he has it (not usually published on the site).

2. There used to be another DeTomaso Registry which was run by someone in Europe (I forgot who at the moment). It was an excellent user-friendly resource that catered to factory built Pushbutton, GTS, GT5, GT5S, Si, Gr.4 and Gr.3 Pantera's, plus Vallelunga, Mangusta, Longchamp, Deauville and Guara derivatives, as well as the single seat and sports racing cars and one-off prototypes. Unfortunately, it appears to have gone offline. You might try searching one of the archived copies of the website in the internet archive to see if you can find a listing of your car.

3. You can also order a Marti Report for your car. This would contain the basic factory data sheet info on your car and production info. Check out their website for more info.
