for me it's simple , the old fans use a lot of energie ,the alternator must work heavy , especial when you have still the original 35 AMP alternator.

nothing worry about till you are in a long time traffic jam .

replace your fans by a modern set of fans ( Spal ) or /and replace your alternator .
