Gas prices shot up 20-30 cents a gallon overnight here because their supplies 'might' be affected. One gas station was at $3.61 a gallon yesterday, and was at $3.96 this morning. That's up 35 cents a gallon, and they didn't even get a delivery! Not all gas stations have done this, though. Some are still in the low $3.70's, where they've been for a while now. The CT DA has asked for people to report price gouging to a special hotline. It takes about 3-6 months for production to reach the retail gas stations here, so WTF?!? It's disgraceful.
