I ordered Mr. Gasket 214 last night from Summit.
Fel-Pro 1228 has a terrible history of leaking so that one is best avoided by everyone.
95078SG from Victor Reinz seems to no longer be available.
Edelbrock does not have a gasket for the stock iron heads and actually recommends the 1228

I actually respect Edelbrock's efforts but I find myself often at odds with them in that often their decisions seem to be to their own benefit rather then the individual customers needs.

For instance. Have you ever seen them do a dual four intake manifold designed for a Holley carb? I haven't. They own the AFB design and manufacture it under their own Edelbrock carb identity.

While I suppose it is good business sense in their view it isn't what I need or I think what the high performance consumer in general wants?
