The title is "insurance" but you ask about drivers license.

In Europe, you may legally drive 6 months with an out-of-country license. (after that they send you to drivers ed...)

Please let me know if you find reasonably priced insurance for a US-registered car for use in Europe. I drove a US-registered Pantera in France for 3 years, but had help from the French company I was working for to find insurance with a European insurance company.
