Here is a picture of the bottom of my original bumper.

The first stud is exactly 1-5/8" (41.275mm) to the center from the bulkhead on the left in the picture. No reason that I can see that you couldn't put it on the driver's side just to confuse the competition?

I replaced my original with a fiberglass L bumper also.

Yikes! I had forgotten how heavy that thing is. Must be 50 pounds?
