Reply to "Lexan front quarter windows"

Be really careful whether you actually have Lucite (polyacrylic) or Lexan (polycarbonate). The oven process as described works fine for polyacrylic and only needs about 150F.

Lexan/polycarbonate on the other hand softens way above the boiling point of water, so if your Lexan piece happens to contain a little moisture-as most does, doing this will generate steam bubbles inside the plastic and your part will only be good for an opaque shower door.
