Here is a pic of the trim on a headlight bezel. (from the bottom looking upward) The trim is held to the bezel using three of the four screws that attach the bezel to the front of the car. If you look at the pic, the holes line up for the screws to go through into the body.

Also, both the headlight bezel and the trim have the car serial number stamped on them. You can barely see it at the top of the bezel in this pic.
