My car usually runs a little higher when cold but when warmed up it seems to settle at about 30 pounds. I say pounds but I am not sure what unit is being used because my gauges are all in Italian so it may be pascals for all I know. Anyway as far as gauge accuracy on stock Pantera gauges, and I know this will be a cause of a huge debate with others, I view the gauges as mearly genralities and not accurate in the least. Instead of warnings I think of them as friendly suggestions.
