There were some reports of windshield cracking with early glue-ins. If verified, this may be due to body-flex combined with the large surface area of the glue surface when welding is used to make the hole smaller, along with hard driving on big sticky tires. To be safe, any of the chassis-stiffening systems by the vendors would be good insurance and the systems have other benefits (like preventing paint cracking), too.
