The last few P-7s I've seen are marked 'P-7 R' which once bumped me into the next class on-track. When I asked, the Tech guy said, "...race tire: (R)". I then showed him that Pirelli marketed that 275-55x 15" tire as a 'rally special' with an extra belt under the tread to prevent tire growth that screws up speedo calibration for T & D Rallies. Several 'oops' and apologies & I was put back into my usual class. Gotta do your homework these days.
