My other car, daily driver, is a Holden SSV. It is one of the last that will be built here in Australia. Our American cousins will know this also as the Chev SS. It is a sad time here, as Australian made cars come to an end. About a week and a half ago, the final Aussie made Chev SS made its way off the line. There are many enthusiasts in the US who love our cars as much as we do. They are powered by the 6.2 LS3 V8(415bhp) with a 6 speed manual trans, Brembo performance brakes, such a great car to drive. The dedicated and passionate Holden employees from the Elizabeth plant in South Australia have built 12,894 Chev SS.
