Johann, When you mentioned the "non-ez unit" were you talking about the SACC unit? The SACC website has some installation pictures. I thought it looked to be fairly straight forward. A little bit of metal trimming and completely reversible. Previous buyers of their products report their customer service is excellent. I know I'm seriously considering installing it. There's is $1550.
